Welcome to the Shift Friends. We Can Save the Human Species Together!
We must fight for the generations that don't yet have a voice so that when they find their voices, there will be a planet left to live on. This is our home and unless we do something to change our ways we will lose it and everything we hold dear.

Sustainable Society
Society as we know it is anything but sustainable. Plentiful waste, pollution and hunger is wide spread. Many take for granted that there will always be food on the shelves in the supermarket or that the electrical grid will always be there. Or that we will always have clean air and water. What if we woke up one day only to find out that our food production and transportation system broke down? What if we get hit with a solar kill shot which would destroy or electrical grid? Many people may starve, some would die when their life support machines stop functioning. Today we are starting to see the errors of the very unsustainable system that is already in place. Fukushima radiation is being detected all over the world, air quality all over the world is taking a nose dive.
Many establishment types would like for you to believe that this is a result of over population or even collective stupidity. I however would like to point out that much of our electricity is produced using coal, one of the top producers of green house gasses in the world. The world also produces enough food to feed the world at least 5 times over. Nuclear power plants have been having accidents resulting in wide spread radiation which is causing many unseen problems as well as what is being reported.
Sustainable Society is in fact possible, but we must first rethink how we conduct resource acquisition. The three most important resources needed for a society to thrive is Clean Air, Water and Healthy Food. After that Clean Energy is needed as a means of ensuring the first three necessities with less manpower, freeing up people to have time to become more social, creative and culturally diverse.
